Property and Real Estate Law

Property law proceedings concern disputes over movable and immovable property. Property law is the branch of civil law governing matters arising from a person's direct control over assets. Its main subjects are rights in rem, possession and the land register. Proceedings intended to protect rights over property may be brought by owners against persons in possession and, in certain circumstances, by possessors against owners.
